Today was meant to be the day for prototyping sushi, but I got distracted by other things. I recruited my second unpaid intern, my own sister Catherine, who I set on painting crusts and buttering toast.
I also got two more journalism students, Abigail and Sasha, who videoed a news item for a television day project. They built a pizza and made a donation.
For breakfast, I had a superfood salad from M&S, & assembled some Turner Fries, ready to award kids on completing a mini workshop.
Catherine brought us lunch from Humpit, and it’s one of the best takeaway lunches I have ever had. My default lunch on-the-hoof is a baguette and tub of hummus but this is something else. Far too much for one meal.
So we didn’t sushi after all. Maybe tomorrow.
